This is absolutely a self catering bush venue with no electricity and runs on gas and paraffin. A fire underneath a donkey will supply hot water for the guests in the en suite facilities and campers. Bush Camp Snuggled away in the bush, the tented camp offers accommodation in luxury tents and is an excellent venue for teambuilding, conferences and weddings. It is set in a bushveldt environment near Parys on the Freestate side of the Vaal River. It features lapa/bar and boma for camp fires. Lions could be heard as well as Gnu and nightjars. General Info: Parys is part of the Vredefort-dome that stretches as far as Johannesburg. In the Parys district it consists of pink granite "koppies" and has an unique eco system, hosting many a tree and shrub that are exotic to the area. Birds abound and even a lone leopard has been recorded.
