8 Days Orange River Rafting trip (Affordable @ R270.00/day or R190/day budget!)
Start in the Green Kalahari and paddle right through to Namaqualand. This is the ultimate "getaway".
Arrive at Raap & Skraap before 13h00 (see map) and receive "dry bag".
Deliver vehicles to Klein Pella before 16h00, wehre the vehicles are safe and return with the drivers to the starting point.
Camp on the river bank.
Safety talk, issue of safety equipment and paddle instructions.
Start paddling.
Lunch on the river bank and camping wherever the mood takes us.
Follows the same pattern.
Hiking, fishing, birding and opportunities for excellent photography is in the order of the day.
We swim through a lot of rapids for fun and generally enjoy ourselves, dangerously so.
Exit the river at a convenient spot at Witbank and return to the guesthouse at Klein Pella.
Dinners, breakfast and lunch included for eight days.
Also included is safety equipment and guides.
Transport is provided to get the drivers back from the guesthouse and from the exit spot to the guesthouse.
Ice is definitely only for very restricted usage!
The only difference from the standard package is for the fact that the client has to supply his own breakfast and lunch.
