General info: From "Sjambokrivier" the Orange River runs through dramatic desert mountains with landmarks such as "Swissroll", "Gorgons Head" and "Springbok vlakte" to be seen. Rapids vary in size depending in the water level but the unwary paddler can be caught off guard by the likes of "Sjambok" and "Gamkab".
